The Cricketers, Ormskirk – A Taste Of The Country In Town

It sits on Chapel Street where the Ruff Lane & Chapel Street conservation areas meet, and has undergone a stunning refurbishment, creating a fitting gateway to this delightful enclave in the heart of West Lancashire’s favourite market town.

In elegant yet cosy surroundings, you can enjoy simple pub classics or the specialities of chefs Tom Wells and the team, maybe trying a seasonal favourite or one of their innovative daily specials. 

To accompany your meal you can choose from a fine selection of quality wines, real ales, continental lagers, craft beers, whiskies and barista coffees.

When visiting us, try to make time to have a look at the memorabilia around the walls. 

They provide fascinating glimpses into the history of the town, the county and - of course - their cricket clubs!

Dog Policy 

We always welcome dogs in our outside dining area. We are currently trialling a small ‘Dog Friendly’ area in the inside Pavilion area, where customers can bring (well behaved!) dogs for a meal. These tables are limited and so pre arranging will be required. Please call us on 01695 571123 if you wish to book one of these tables.

Please note, Dogs are not permitted in other areas of The Cricketers and Bistro, including the Bar area.
